XP: Any off beat/non tradtional wedding dress photos?

Hi ladies, I bought a gorgeous and very offbeat evening gown for my wedding dress. I adore it but the more I see girls in their white traditional dresses, I'm second guessing myself and wondering if I will miss that "moment".

Could I see any of photos of your off beat/non traditional dresses?

No pics here, but I am 90% decided on wearing a purple gown instead of white.  I tried some really gorgeous white ones on, but none of them felt like the dress I should wear to marry the love of my life. 

I think with a veil and a bouquet, I will still look like a bride.  Being surrounded by bridesmaids and groomsmen will also help. 

One I'm thinking of:


My mom is going to custom-make the veil so that it goes with whatever dress I end up with.  I may ask for purple ribbon edges or something to coordinate it with the dress.

I have a green dress! No pro pics as I'm not married yet, but here's a picture my mom took at a fitting.

Thanks for the photos and advice! I think if I do go traditional I think I will miss my colorful dress, I've just been oohhh'ing and ahhh'ing over all the pretty dresses on TK and started second guessing,

@MeatAuditor I love the purple dress. I was originally going to try to dip dye a white dress with purple until I found the splatter paint dress.

Okay, that dress is gorgeous. Don't second guess yourself. You say right there that it is "you". If it's you and it's a totally awesome dress, keep it, stop looking at the floofy white ones and thinking they're better.

Ohhh, I love love love that dress. It is absolutely beautiful! Like pp said, stop second guessing yourself. You will look stunning in the dress you have.

I haven't gone dress shopping yet, just browsing the web, but I am thinking I am going to be getting a colored dress. Most likely a light green (though, now I am browsing the site where you got yours...). I just can not see myself in a traditional white dress. Plus, I am really pale and look pretty bad in white to begin with.

Thanks ladies. I just got off the phone with FMIL (she bought my dress and has it at her house) and we're going to try it on again with my shoes and my veil. She thinks everything together will make me feel more like a bride. Really I just need to stop second guessing myself.

I may lurke around on this board more often. Some great weddings are in the making
