Hello! I'm newly engaged and we just picked our venue; Atlantis Marine Center (aka Riverhead Aquarium) in Riverhead NY. Now I'm stuck as to how to decorate. I'm having the ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors in a kind of romanesque atmosphere (with columns and statues and such). I'm having the reception inside the aquarium where there are wall to wall fish tanks and hundred foot high murals. I cannot figure out a decent color combination that would work with both settings. Blue and green seem repetative, and gold or pewter seems nice for outside but I don't really care for the color and I don't think it will work in both environments (indoors and out). I've had some ideas with purple, but I fear it will be too dark and I certainly do not want anything shaded black at my wedding. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
