I've never been bridal dress shopping but I believe they often recommend that if you've found "the one" you should stop looking, however, you mentioned this is your first time dress shopping so I'm sure it seems a bit scary to pick a dress without shopping around more. 

Maybe wait a few months, go back and put that one on again and see if you still feel the same way as you do now; if you still love it I would think that is your dress. If in a few months you try it on and you're tastes have changed or you see it in a new light, no harm done and you can continue shopping at least knowing that's not the dress for you.

I think it looks gorgeous and I'm sure you look equally gorgeous in it.

I think buying it this far in advance is okay, but I recommend going shopping at least one more time. I thought I found "the one" my first time out, and my mom begged me to go shopping one more time. I wasn't happy but I agreed - I loved the dress I found, it made me feel gorgeous, and it was stunning. When I went the second time - I found the actual dress of me. It was the same fit of the first, but more romantic, lighter, more "me". I think I loved the first so much because it ws the first dress that made me feel like "Oh wow, I'm  bride and I could wear this on my wedding day." ... I tried both dresses on a second time before deciding, but I went with the second dress. Honestly, I knew it was the 2nd dress the first time I had it on, but I was pretty attached to the first so I tried them both on again.

I love it!!! That is really early to be buying your dress. I would personally wait until you hit the 12-9 month mark.

Yeah I will also be wearing a Maggie and I just bought mine at the 9.5 month mark Next time you try it on get pics of you in it so we can see!
