Looking for something different

I am going to have a "crazy" wedding as everyone has put it. My wedding colors are Red and Black. I am going to have a red and black dress. I am having my brides maids go bare foot. I am looking for some cute ideas to do. I am not sure that excatly I am looking for. One thing that i am doing is while were sat down to eat. I am passing around a journal and everyone has to write something that comes to mind about my fiance and I. It can about one or us or both of us, I would like to know if anyone has anyother idea like that.

Aw sounds fun! I think it really depends on the "style" of your wedding. Is it beachy? or just a normal wedding but with "different" aspects to it? 

We're doing a "bunch" of balloons and/or button boquettes for my bridesmaids, they will also wear these headbands that say "bam" "pow" etc like old school comic books have. 

I'm seriously considering making my flower girl into a Princess Leia type and the ringbearer into a storm trooper helmet and white tux...

I like your journal idea a lot! If you can do the old school Polaroid things where they can take a pic and immediately get it/put it in a book w/ a note to you that'd be fun! Or maybe a station where there's a video camera where they can do personalized video messages to you. We have a flip so we want to send it around and have our guests say something. 

But other than that, I think it really depends on where/theme, before I can throw out more cute ideas. Like is the theme "red and black" or is it also combined with other things. Red and black make the think casino or the red queen from Alice in Wonderland etc. Oh and vampires, the real ones, not the twilight ones.

We're not doing the traditional dancing reception.  We probably will have a little dancing b/c I want a "first dance".  Other than that, music will be background only.  Our venue has a heated pool, a hot tub, and a pool table.  Our photog sets up a "crazy corner" for photos with props provided.  We may set up a s'mores station at the fire pit.  We will probably have a wii or xbox connected to the big screen TV.  And with all of that, I still wouldn't mind having another activity or two.

I agree, did you have more information on the style of the wedding? Or something you are looking for (like, ideas for dresses, bouquets, decor, ect).

In general:

You can do non-floral bouquets that are red and black. Feathers, buttons, or brooches are a example.

Write your own ceremony, and find passages or poems that you like and include them. Same if anyone does any readings.

Find a song that you like for you to walk down to, and not the traditionally 'here comes the bride.' Along with that, you can walk by yourself, with your husband to be, both your parents, any other person that played an important part of your life.

The theme is going to be a walk to remember. I am walking down the isle to Only hope by mandy moore. All girls standing up for my are going to be bare foot. I am going to have the poem that is said during the wedding in a walk to remember that the begining of the ceremony. I am writing EVERYONE that is Rsvp-ing a letter the them. I am making two beading flowers for all the grandmother and mothers. I am giving the mother their how my father gives me away. I am also during a signing board for everyone to sign. I am having unity sand instead of candle. I am not having the groom nor the groomsmen are not wear tuxs. It is going to be outside in a rock garden. Let me know what you think. I am also making a website for invites and I am making my cake toppers. Let me know what you think and give me Ideas

</div><div>(fyi doctor who is the longest running scifi shoe in all history. been on scince 1963! its brittish. alot of its filmed in cardiff... mostly about a man (named the doctor) who is an alien from galifrey and a time lord. he travels in a blue police box called the TARDIS and saves people. mostly earth but has gone to other planets times and dementions... all very cool...)
