Ideas for bridal shower locations

Hi ladies!

My 16 year old daughter really wants to plan my bridal shower so as much as I didn't want to plan anything else I'm helping her a little.  Does anyone have any suggestions for a place to have the shower.  On the cheap if possible.  South Snohomish and North King county would be preferred.

Every shower I've been to has been held at the host's home. Can she co-host the shower with a friend of yours, and have it at the friend's house?

Just a suggestion: if this is a second marriage, I would do a theme shower, such as "Stock the Bar," recipe, A to Z, etc. I'm guessing you guys already have a lot of the stuff that might be found on a registry?

This is my first marriage, but thank you for the suggestion :)  He has been married before but after his divorce his inventory of house stuff was taken down to the bachelor stuff and I'm looking forward to us building something together and starting anew.

Originally my daughter and my sister planned on hosting the shower together someplace like a tea room but my sister has flaked out.  My daughter and I talked about it yesterday and she's just going to plan on using our house.  I am nervous about that idea because my dog really doesn't like a lot of people in the house but I'm sure it will be fine.
