What are everyone's offbeat reception ideas?
I really don't think the guests would enjoy the traditional dinner & dance reception (mostly the dancing part).
We'll be serving dinner for 50. Ceremony and reception are both planned at a rented mansion with pool/hot tub in back yard. I am considering a pool party if weather allows.
I'm up for hiring a DJ or MC if it will make the night run smoother. I'm doing a lot of DIY stuff, but I want to be able to enjoy the reception. I'm also considering the ipod playlist option if a DJ isn't going to be valuable.
