the post about bustiling the dress was awhile ago, so i wanted to make sure you saw this
my best friend is my seamstress, so we played with it for quite awhile and this is how we liked it best. there were some other ways that showed more black, but it also made a huge "pile" on my back end. she took the two white sides and hooked them underneath almost to the black stripe then hooked the middle of the black right at the bottom of the buttons. I know everyone has different taste, but thought I would show you an option anyway. I like the way it sits almost straight down a=line. It is just a lot of dress lol
also you can see where she has started embroidery and beading around the appliques. It is not done yet, but when it is it will show a bit darker. she also put the black tulle ruffle along the bottom of the dress. we both like having things with our own touch,, so she was glad to do it for me.
