So I lurk here. A lot. I've never posted because... well... I don't know why. But I am now.
Fi is a geek. A big one. He's a major gamer and I'm trying to incorporate it into small details (ie- his cake will be a replica of the one in portal (he keeps asking about it and I tell him there is no cake- that the cake is a lie... he either doesn't get it or he's just playing dumb to make me smile) and his bachelor party is set for Comic Con next year..)
Anyway. I'm DIYing my garter and I want it to reflect his geekiness. It will be purple because that's my favorite colour & nothing else in our wedding is purple. But I want to add a charm to it- which is where you come in. I can't decide what I want the charm to be. I've thought of all the controllers I just don't really like that because it seems like it's what everyone does. I was thinking a chocobo feather in a vial, a Minecraft diamond, or maybe a computer chip (he went to school for networking administration) or lego pieces he can actually build with. Does anyone have any creative ideas along those lines?
And I'm Jacqui by the way
edit: I think I'm going to go with a weighted companion cube (because I'm his best friend in the whole wide world haha), a hearthstone (because I'll always get him home- no matter where that is), or 2 minecraft diamonds (because it's his favorite game). Now to narrow it down...
