Centerpieces! I am just totally stuck on this. We want something a little different, but I don't know what! Our wedding is on the whimsical side and we are incorportaing lots of colors. I would like for there to be differnt centerpieces (maybe 3 styles at 4 tables each, etc), but not sure wha they should be.

Show me yours or tell me about some that you have seen at other weddings.

SO and i love succulents so I love the idea of terrariums or succulents. I'm not engaged yet so i've been making terrariums and succelent pots just around our apartment. here's an inspiration pic for what i made last weekend.

They will have two music notes, and they'll hold pictures of concerts. Fi made these from scratch, he's the best.

We're making somethink similar to this for our head table and family tables. I'm too lazy to upload pics from my camera right now. =P

Here are our inspirations. My FI is going to build them out of cedar though, so they'll be square & we're using Ikea frames with hand-painted numbers in them instead of metal numbers. Then I'll plant them maybe a week before.

I'm doing fake manzanita branches in glass cylinder vases with black rocks at the bottom for weight, and hanging crystals on the branches.  These will be alternated with wine bottles with candles in them - wrapping some ribbon around the wine bottles.  I'll have some bud vases with single stem roses in them.

Our tall ones were manzanita branches with crystals and UFS cards hanging from them.  UFS is a collectible card game that DH and I both played, and we met at a tournament!





Our short centerpieces were just florals in our colors, but the vases were different size beakers, Erlenmeyer flasks and graduated cylinders.  Because we're both nerds like that.
