Favourite Friday!

The first theme post on the board, one that some of you girls had expressed you liked the idea of... .

So here is where you share your favourite wedding related and non wedding related things over the past week!

I'll start

WR - My friend agreed to perform as part of our ceremony! He sings and plays ukelele and is REALLY good :)
NWR - I took one evening off this week to just take my dogs for a long walk with my fiance and enjoy this weather, and I LOVED it!

[QUOTE]That's exciting, what made you decide that was 'the spot'?

<div>Well the spot is three tall, very old, pine trees in a kind of triangle. They are up on a hill kind of so all but on direction has great views. We got some awesome shots there on our "engagement shoot" so we knew we loved it, but when we walked there this time we kind of just looked at each other and were like "this is it."  Besides those kind of "emotional' reasons we think that it might make whomever we hire a little more comfortable, since we've no clue if whom we hire will be alright or unsettled by the idea. Yes it is still definitely in a graveyard and has headstones all around the trees, but because it's a small area without them, and we won't like standing next to any of the headstones, we think they should feel a little better about it. Plus, the spot is just gorgeous :)</div>

[QUOTE]WR: Started going though a premarital workbook. (We wanted to do church-sponsored counseling, but would have to fly to my parents' to do so...boo...) It's actually kind of fun to talk all of this stuff over. NWR: My old roommate was in town for a few days.

I really enjoyed our premarital councelling sessions, we learned a lot about each other as well as about ourselves going through it :)
