i've been trying to figure out a neat way to do a seating chart or escort cards.
i bought cute silver birch place card holders on etsy and FI and are making the place cards with recycled paper, die cut birds and twigs - our first DIY project, fun! i was planning on putting these at the tables as we are a little short on decorations but that would mean we need a seating chart which i am not that thrilled about. it seems formal and not so us.
i like the old window pane idea but i don't think it goes with our venue which is pretty modern looking. i'm trying to bring some more rustic elements into it but it think that might be a bridge too far.
anyone got any other unique ideas? or should i just put the table numbers on the place cards and have people pick up and take their little birch stumps to the table?
