Greetings from the other side!
Our destination wedding was perfect in all of its imperfections (well, maybe minus the imperfection that DH left our rings at a hotel in Virginia when we were on our way to VT during our move and we didn't find out until we got back from our HM. Yeeeeaaaahhh). It rained in the days--even the hours--leading up to our wedding, but when it counted, the sun came out. I love the fact that we had both our lakefront ceremony in the gorgeous autumn sun but still managed to have rain on our wedding day. It was casual, laid-back, and completely awesome. Not a dry eye in the place during our ceremony, and not an empty tummy during our reception. It was such a happy, beautiful day. There is so little I would do differently.
The best part? The day she got back, my photographer posted teaser photos!
