So...I've been posting for awhile on other boards, but it just doesn't...fit...how I feel about my wedding. After lurking a little on this board I think it is WAYY better suited to my tastes and my take on my wedding.
I guess I'll give a few details about my wedding. While it's going to be held at a "traditional" church, I picked it because it was built in the late 40s and has some neat dark wood details and beautiful stained glass. My reception venue is a really awesome restaurant banquet hall that will adapt to my weird little vision that's floating around in my head.

I'm kinda having a mini meltdown and considering getting a slimmer all lace gown, but we'll see what I do. I'm finicky.
I guess I would consider myself 'offbeat' because while I do want/have most of the traditional wedding elements, we're taking them a step further and making them really reflect the weirdness that is us.
