I noticed there's some new faces showing up here lately, so I wanted to welcome all of you and ask you to share a little about yourselves

I'm new on this board but I have posted a few times on some other boards. I'm getting married in March 2014 in New Orleans! I'm from Birmingham, AL and my FH is from Milwaukee, WI, talk about different cultures! Our wedding will def be offbeat and a lot of fun! I hope to find the perfect soft rainbow colored dress and the perfect sparkling feather covered umbrella to dance through the streets of New Orleans with during our second line parade! Before all that fun will be our zombie engagement pictures, stole the idea from pintrest, with our wedding party being the zombies! I've always been a very outgoing, flamboyant and gaudy person which I hope carries into our wedding tastefully. My mother is not having any part of my "fun" ideas and wants a more traditional southern wedding but I think we will be able to compromise!

The first ones I saw were a couple sitting out in meadow type setting and a zombie came down the hill behind them and the couple killed the zombie together. I'm just excited that the people I love are on board and everyone is rather excited. Now I'm trying to come up with a few other ideas besides zombies.

Hi all!  I'm newly engaged and we've set our date for March 31, 2013...so time is ticking!  We recently secured our venue and caterer and made a big decision...we're doing away with the traditional wedding cake and having a chocolate fountain instead!  I'm very excited to get the rest of the planning done so we can relax a little before the big day :-)

Hi everyone I'm new to the board too! My boyfriend is currently torturing me about our soon engagement told me it'll be in the next 3 months. He loves teasing me like that lol. Any way our wedding is disney/fantasy themed. The guys are still in the traditional tuxes but everyone else will be princes (ring bearers), fairies (flower girls), princess (me and my junior bride), and ladies in waiting (bridal party). We both our actors and singers plus I'm a dancer so we'll be having choreographed routines as well as performances through out the evening.
