Hey ladies, I have been wearing myself out trying to select a first dance song and I am just spinning my wheels. I have never posted on this board, but already it seems like a great place to come for ideas!
I know ideally the first dance would be a song already special to the two of us, but our tastes are so far apart we don't really have any that are dance-able. ("Our song" is probably Rock 'n' Roll Suicide by David Bowie.)
I'm looking for something acoustic (or at least calm), a little quirky, but still sweet. Seems like a lot of quirky/unique songs have lyrics that would make me blush in front of my entire family (best example: In Spite of Ourselves by John Prine!).
Anyway, any ideas are greatly appreciated. My wedding is in 3 weeks so I've really got to nail this down!
