As requested
I'm doing a "bouquet ceremony" (btw: I just pulled that name out of my a**, haha, so call it whatever you want)
I took a suggestion from a fellow knottie and changed it to fit my style and IMO flow better.
* I chose 8 women, fam and friends and I am going to have my wedding planner reserve aisle seats for them and give them a flower at the beginning of the ceremony/upon arrival.
* I am going to walk to the top of the aisle and have my brother (who is walking me down the aisle) stand off to the side. IDK what music is going to be playing yet.
* I am then gonna have a group of 3, 2, 2 and 1 stand up and walk up to me and give me the flower. (We'll prob hug or something, think photo op!
* The flowers that they bring to me will then form my bouquet that I walk down the aisle with.
* Once the last woman is seated my brother will join me, the music will change and I'll walk down to my FI!
The other ideas that I got from someone on TK, that I didn't think would work so well for me were:
* I could collect the flowers from the ladies as I walked down the aisle. I didn't think this would work bc the guests would already be standing and I don't think it would be clear what was going on. Plus I thought it would take attention always from my bro walking me down. It's gonna be a special moment.
* The next idea was to ask the selected ladies to pick a flower that reminds them of me and bring it to the wedding. So the flowers that they picked out would make up my bouquet. I just didn't wanna give anyone a job to do theday before my wedding, so I nixed this one too.
