Greetings;

My finace wants to marry on his birthday. I explain to him that wouldn't be fair to him, cause birthday's and anniversaies should be seperate. He thinks it's a grand idea! How in the world would I (bride to be) pull this off? Just saying, any thoughts?

If you aren't comfortable with it, I would be clear with him about that. He might think your only issue is that you're worried he'll have an issue with it.

If you're ok with it then you could try to celebrate as well at the reception maybe? Get all the guests to sing him Happy Birthday and have a small birthday cake brought to the head table to join the 'dessert table' after? I would leave the birthday celebrations out of the ceremony though.

We got married on my nephew's birthday and we just celebrated by bringing a birthday cake to the rehearsal dinner.
