lots of show and tell (as promised!)

well i'm back from our amazing weekend of wedding planning and introducing our parents.

the only hiccup was that our flight got cancelled last night coming home and we had to get back to our dogs so we ended up renting a car and driving through the night to get back to them. it cost a fortune and i'm exhausted, i went to work on no sleep so i am quite delirious now but i still had to come on here to do my show and tell as promised

so. first things first...the venue...i couldn't get any pics that do justice to the inside of the inn, but here is the outside...

And here is the ceremony venue, its an outdoor amphitheatre, and we will set up the chairs and have a little aisle, and we will be up the first couple of steps with our officiant and the WP will be on the next steps down.

We found a cute little corner to do our first look too...

My mom took a couple cute pics of us there too so here you are...

And then I had my hair and make up trials, which were SO MUCH FUN, especially the hair, the lady was a riot, she put my veil and fascinator in her hair while she was doing mine...we didn't stop laughing.

Anyway, we came up with a look where I can have my hair up and then after the ceremony pull a bobby pin and have my ponytail down so it will be like this...

and then out comes the pin and...

The make up was harder for me, as I don't wear much. I really wanted to do an old hollywood look but every lip shade she tried on me didn't look right to me, so we decided to do lots of eye make up and a pretty nude lip which I am much more comfortable with. In the next life I will wear bright red lipstick

We also nailed the RD venue, some menu selections and a ton of other smaller stuff, but I figure this is the fun stuff you guys wanted to see.

Anyway, thats enough AW outta me for one night, I need some sleep. Hope you all had wonderful weekends, and I look forward to catching up with you all this week.
