So, I'm going down the aisle unesorted much to my dad's chagrin. He'll be doing a reading at the ceremony and we'll have a whole show of family's support deal so he'll even say his line, just no walk.
He's been super down about it. We've never had a great relationship, he is not contributing in any way to the wedding and he has another daughter so he'll get a chance. We may also ask him to play some music for us at cocktail hour.
I wanted to get him a book about being father of the bride to cheer him up, but they all make a huge deal about walking the bride down the aisle and paying niether of which he's doing.
