i am wanting to have a new years eve wedding and i have decided on maybe black , silver and ivory for the wedding colors. we are having a small wedding of like 30 guest. and also having it during the day so we can go to a near by city and have a small honeymoon watching fireworks and such. so our wedding will not be having a count down or be til midnight. so i dont mind the new years theme by having champaign bottles and those things, but would be be "wrong" to have any other kind of theme? i do NOT like christmas wedding themes so no reds or christmas. so my question is, is it safe for another type of theme but still be new years or should it be new years themed only? even during the middle of the day? just curious thanks!
