So over my Spring break we signed a contract with the photographer and he said that he would mail a copy to us because we had meet at a local restaurant and there was no copy machine there.
Fast forward a week and we still don't have the contract. My FI calls him and is told that the deposit check was made out wrong. He said he didn't have a business account and the check needs to be made out to him.
It is 1.5 weeks after this and we still haven't gotten the contract. My FI has called him 4 times and he still has not even called us back. His website has also be taken down.
Any words of encouragement or advice would be appreciated.
