I'm new to this board, but I've lurked on here a time or two. To be honest, I don't stick to one board except maybe I'm on the local and wedding month board a little more than others. I LOVE this thread, much like a few other newcomers like myself. Not to be snarky, this isn't the board for that, but the other boards have made me feel silly for ideas I thought were good or questions I didn't think were stupid. However, I love that this board doesn't do that.
SO. SPILL why you're an offbeat bride!
-No church wedding, outside wedding
-EVERYTHING was DIY exceptttt attire
-We opened out gifts after the wedding shower (shhh!)
-We did an online (or by phone/email) RSVP
-We are having a cash bar (FI and I don't drink much, my family not at all, and his family barely does)
-We're not inviting plus 1, we want only our friends and family there - that's what we can afford. Not your boyfriend you've been dating for 2 months that you feel should be there *rant over*
