Has anyone used Preownedweddingdress.com to buy their dress recently?  If so, what was your experience with it / with the escrow.com service?

    Yes, I used preownedweddingdress.com.  I found it to be a delightfully simple transaction.  The dress was new with tags, never worn, and the prices was great!  Below are pictures.

    I almost used it, but the deal ended up falling through, so I found the same dress on reycledbride.com.  I recommended the escrow service to the girl from recycledbride and it was great.  It protects both parties and I think that's worth the fee. I was sure she wouldn't get my money unless the dress arrived in the condition she said, and she was sure that my money was there before mailing it. My dress came exactly as described and I was so happy to pay a little less than 1/3 of the ($3000) price tag.

    Ski2Play - I LOVE your dress.

    Sorry Toomanychoices, I can't see the picture you posted.But 1/3 the price is a great deal.
    I searched on POWD website and everything I liked was too short. I'm 5' 8" without heels.

    I found my dress at a sample sale.
