Flowers for men?

Hi! I misunderstood a guests's request this morning. They are getting married today!  Would flowers for men be a good idea? Would red roses be suitable? I have a bed and breakfast here in Iowa and would like them to come back again and tell their friends this is a good place to come.  Thanks!

I think it depends on the person. I really like flowers, and would greatly appreciate them in a room. Instead, you could do something like champange or chocolates, with a congratulations note.

Thanks, Saabseller! I thought and thought and hadn't yet read your post. I considered making chocolate covered strawberries and thought of flowers, but since it is raining and they had asked to borrow an umbrella that we didn't have, I bought them a large rainbow colored umbrella that both of them could fit under. I told them if it wasn't their taste or style, where to return it. They went out for dinner tonight and took it with them, so it must have been a hit! (or they took it back.) Also a card. I was pleased how many of them didn't have a pic of both a man and woman or refer to groom and bride.
