First Dance

Just wondering what song you will be dancing to and if your already hitched what song did you choose. Mine will be Lucky by Jason Mraz. I love him and that song, and Marc actually loves the song too.

We are dancing to "Little Wonders" by Rob Thomas. I can't wait, although I cry now every time I hear it.

I Love Jason Mraz  :)We're thinking  "The way you look tonight" sung by Sinatra... but it's a bit uptempo and we have no idea how to dance it!!!  I wonder if we should go to dance lessons... anybody done it?

We went a little crazy and did There She Goes (My Beautiful World) by Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds. It had everyone on the dance floor by the end of it!

We did a choreographed dance to "Everything" by Michael Buble. We took lessons from a good friend of mine. It was fun, but stressful to cram in our practices over the last couple of weeks... but well worth it. All of our guests complimented us on the dance!

that was our original choice! but when we listened to Lucky we loved how both he and the other artist are singing to one another. I cant stop listening to his music lol

We're doing something a little different and dancing to a fast song: Waterloo by ABBA. The words are perfect fo us and a fast dance is a little unexpected and yet far more "us" than a slow dance. Plus, I figure I'll cry enough when I dance with my dad so perhaps with a fast dance I'll keep the terars at bay.

Our best man, who is a very talented musician, is actually writing a song for us to to our first dance to. As far as I know it's a slow tempo, but apparently it has to be a surprise so I won't hear it until the dance! I think he is just trying to get me to cry lol!

We danced to "Today' by Jefferson Airplane - we actually were listening to that CD a lot when we first met.  The lyrics are very fitting for a wedding too, and also us because we had been together for ten years before our wedding.

We are dancing to 'Stay with You', by John Legend.  We made the choice because it's kinda in the middle of the styles of music we both like!  It's kinda a blues type song...and I love the lyrics.

We are dancing to Superman by Dave Matthews Band.  We are both huge fans!  We are also planning on taking some lessons for a little wow factor!

We are stilll debating between "Can't help falling in love" the Michael Buble version and "I cross my heart" by George Strait.
