Hey Girls--Who are you are going with for a photographer in Toronto? There are so many to choose from, and I have heard horror stories about friends who have gone with photographers who have absolutely messed up their wedding photos.Please advise!!

There are so many photographers out there that I agree its a hard choice. Word of mouth and recommendation is your best bet, but you also have to let your photographer know what you are looking for, as there are many styles of photography out there. For me it was an easy choice, as my FI's cousin is a professional photographer that has been taking pictures that I have loved since I met her. Her name is Joni Allardyce and you can check out her blog or website at www.joniallardyce.com. I'm sure all the girls on this site can recommend many other great people as well. Good luck!

I used Jill Promoli, she was fabulous and I'd highly recommend her. The only downside was that since she works alone, she couldn't cover as much as a team could, but on the other hand, she was very reasonably priced for her level of talent, and just a joy to work with. We used Heavenly Photography and could not have been happier. (www.heavenlyphotography.ca)We thought they were very reasonably priced and fantastic to work with. They are a brother and sister team and they always work together (2 photographers + an assistant), and only do 1 wedding per day.

We're using Bryan Capporicci.  He's based in Niagara Falls but is willing to travel. He photographed our friends' wedding (FI and I were both in the bridal party) and he was so much fun to work with and the photos he took were stunning.

Thanks, everyone for your suggestions! It has made finding a photographer a lot less overwhelming, because now I have places to start! It has been really hard planning my wedding because my FI is not in the country, so I have had to do most of it by myself! You girls are a great support!! xoxo
