"Medals" under our names in posts?

What are the new little medals with "G" or "N" on them, under our names when we write a post? I'm assuming it's some sort of rating of how often you post on the board?

I had a "B" then it went to an "N".

    They are rankings depending on how much you post. 

    N is newbie 0-500 posts

    B is bronze 501-2000

    S is silver 2001-6000 posts

    G is gold 6001-15,000 posts
    P is platinum 15,001 + posts
