Invite Wording

We are printing our invites today (yay!) and I wanted to get you girls' opinion on the wording. So, what do you think?

    The "usual" /"old-fashioned" way to do it is to put the groom's parents after the bride & groom

    Mr & Mrs. Parentsofbride
    request the honour of your presence

    at the marriage of their daughter

    Bridefirst Bridemiddle
    to
    Groomfirst Groommiddle

    son of Mr. & Mrs. Parentsofgroom

    But IMO putting both parents first is peachy-keen too :).

    1st year anniversary in Victoria with a killer whale topiary!

    I was just thinking that maybe we should put them both at the top since they are both helping to pay for the wedding. I felt kinda bad about sticking his parents name in the middle if they were helping just as much (if not more than mine).

    Oh yea, I think if they're both "hosting" then it makes sense for them to both go at the beginning.
