Hair Advice

I know it is odd, but we are getting married on a Sunday (our venue requires 100 confirmed guests for a Saturday wedding, and we only have 60).

I called every single hair salon in the city I live in, and only 3 are open on Sunday. All 3 are in the mall, and all 3 open at 11am. My wedding is at 3pm, and the salon I have tentatively decided on said that they would have 3 stylists working on us, and if we are there at 11am sharp they would be done myself, 3 girls and 2 moms by 1:30pm at the latest.

The only 2 weddings I have been in were my sister's (her wedding was at 3pm and we were at the salon at 7am) and my FSIL who got married in Cuba. We were very late, however there was only 1 stylist and he didn't speak English, so I can't base anything on that! Haha.

Does anybody have any advice for me? I don't want to worry about running behind all day on the wedding day.

I suggest looking online for someone who will come to YOU for your day.  There aren't a lot of salons that will be open but probably tons of hair and makeup artists who would love to make some $$$!

Ditto Littlin to find someone who will come to you. If you don't know any independent stylists, then ask your own stylist next time you go get a haircut if he/she and some of his/her fellow stylists would be willing to work privately for your wedding.

Ditto PPs.  ask your own stylist or call around and see if you can find anyone to come to you.  That way you won't have to worry about being late, getting to & from the salon in traffic, etc.  Good luck:)

My wedding is on a Sunday as well but it's at noon. A few girls on here recommended Project Pose. I am probably going to got with them . They are resonably priced. Here is the link. I hope this helps.

I agree w/ Littlin and Ringpop. If you can't find an independent person to come to you on that day, you might even try approaching someone who works in one of the salons that is closed on sundays and asking them if they would come to your house on the sunday to do your hair.
