champagne dresses

I'm posting this on the Canada board because my brides maid dresses need to be weather appropriate for October. I'm having my girls wear champagne dresses but I haven't seen any that are nice. Did anyone else choose this colour and if so can you please post a picture of the dresses?

ps-I'm getting married Oct 28, 2012 in Ontario, so it's probably going to be chilly! I planned on getting the girls ivory sweaters so they won't freeze.

Where in Ontario? The weather is different according to the location. Weather in the Hudson Bay area is far different then toronto or Hamilton.

Is your wedding going to be indoors or outdoors? What theme/ feel are you thinking for your wedding? If it's going to be chilly, but they will be wearing sweaters (and will hopefully be inside for some of the day) you can pretty much choose anything for dresses. If they will be outside think tights or maybe pretty lap blankets they can fold over themselves during the ceremony if you have them seated.

Ask at your local store what colours the dresses you like come in. Most bridesmaid dress companies allow you to order many of their dresses in a champagne colour.

Must depend on the area quite a bit. Ontario is huge!

In Toronto the weather can vary so much in the fall. Judging by Halloween, some years you might need a winter coat while other years you can go out without a sweater. (and bar legs with a skirt)

It's hard to plan ahead because of that. They should be fine with a sweater/shawll to wear over their dress. (that way it can be removed if needed)

In the GTA there is usually no snow until much later in the year.  If you're living here I am sure you already know this.

EDIT: Most of the dresses I have seen come in that colour as well.
