NWR: Christmas!!!

So it's been pretty quiet on this board lately - I'm sure we are all busy out and about in the holiday season!  So along those lines...

1. What are you getting for your FI/husband this year?

2. What's on your own Christmas wish list?

3. Any plans for the holiday season?

    1. FI is getting lots of clothes - he needs shirts and sweaters for nights and dinners out - he likes when I grab stuff for him because he hates to shop for himself.  Also got him some DVDs (all the Wes Anderson movies), and some little stocking stuffers.

    2. My wish list includes Wii fit/active, a new purse for the winter season, and some new clothes - nothing crazy - just need to update the wardrobe a bit.

    3. No huge plans for the break, but FI has been away in Nevada for work for the past 9 weeks so I'll be glad to have him back on the 23rd so we can spend some time together again!  I'm a teacher so I'm off until January 3rd.   Lots of family parties too - have to try not to eat too much.  Today at the gym a big poster hung over me while I was doing crunches that said "the average person gains 7-10 lbs over the holidays" - that's CRAZY!

    How about everyone else?

We're very boring and have actually opted to not buy each other gifts this year.  We're flying home (Yay!) and tickets were pretty pricey so they're kind of like our gifts to each other.

    2. What's on your own Christmas wish list?

I haven't asked for a lot this year except for clothes. That's kind of boring but I really don't need much else.

    3. Any plans for the holiday season?

CANADA!  We fly out on Wednesday and I can't wait!!!!  We're spending Swedish Christmas (Christmas eve) with FI's family and taking his nieces and nephew to see Robin Hood at the Elgin Theatre.  That night we'll have a smorgasboard of Swedish food and dance around the Christmas tree.

My parents are coming for brunch the next morning then it's off to Orillia for Canadian Christmas dinner and presents with my family.

On top of all that we'll be visiting friends and other family and  doing lots and lots of wedding stuff during the 2 weeks we're home as we'll likely only be home one other time after this before the wedding.  We're picking up my dress, meeting with vendors, having our tasting and FINALLY choosing bridesmaids and flower girl dresses.  I can't wait!!!!
