I wanted to introduce myself. I'm new to this board. My name is Leah, I got engaged July 30 and planning my June 4, 2011 wedding. I'm a pastor's daugther (yes my dad is doing the ceremony) and my fiance is also following that same path in ministry. I'm excited to be on this board and see how the Lord will work in the months to come.

    Welcome!  I'm a PK too! 

    My Dad did not do my ceremony.  (It would have been really hard for him because he was so emotional.  Also, his health doesn't allow him to stand for long periods of time.)

    I  think it's so special that your father will be officiating.  I went to a good friend's wedding in June where the bride's grandfather walked her down the aisle and then helped officiate, along with the church's pastor.  It was so sweet and emotional.
