Prayers, Praises, Inspiration?

We haven't done this officially in a little while...

What kinds of prayers, praises, or inspiration would you like to share as we come into 2011?  

Some of us will be MARRIED this year (wow, it's hard to believe), and some will continue to offer wonderful "married life" support, and some are prepping for a marriage for 2012.  It's headed for an amazing year for many of us.

My prayer has to do with stress... my family and FI's family is pressuring us to get so many details lined up and decided immediately, and while we are getting married in July (7 months away), the stress of getting it organized "early" is going to be tough these next few weeks.  

My praise is that God is seeing me through some tough times financially and emotionally and continues to carry me when I least expect it.  He's teaching me to rely on Him more and more, and for the same token, he's also teaching me to rely on my FI for family leadership.  We had an amazing discussion yesterday after a fussy-bite-your-head-off argument we had driving for 8 hours... we were NOT about to let the sun go down on the frustration we had and we talked it out and we learned to deal with each other better.  Anyone who says "you should already know each other before you get engaged" doesn't remember that people spend entire lifetimes getting to know and learning to live with their partners.  We know where some of the pitfalls are, and we are better at avoiding the arguments than ever before, but I know there will continue to be challenges and God will help us navigate through it all! 

My inspiration song is "God is in Control" (yeah, another Twila Paris song, I think I've posted about it before).

My prayer:

That God will help me to keep my resolutions- 1. Show Christ's love by reacting to all situations positively and treating others as Jesus would (as much as possible). 2. Stick to the "Year of the Bible" that my church is doing (reading three or four chapters each day as we follow a guide- at the end of 2011, we will have read through the entire Bible, which I've never done before, so I am excited!)

Thanks to God for all He has given me and for sending His son to save us all. Thanks for bringing me closer to Him in 2010 and helping me to make the decision to keep Him first in my life always.
