Brides: how are you planning on leaving the receptiong?

Past brides: how did you leave the reception?

We are leaving the reception pretty early (dinner is served at 6:30 and we hope to be gone by 10) so we will probably just annuounce that we are leaving. no fancy exit or anything.

We changed into more comfortable clothes and our Bride & Groom Mickey ears and...left! We actually even left without the ears because we had an extra set someone gifted us packed and didn't need both sets with us.

We just kinda left.  I was moving 1100 miles away and DH had not seen his friends or family in several months since he had moved, so we stuck around until everyone except the BP and family had left.  My brothers decorated the car, so those remaining followed us out to see it and wave goodbye, but we didn't do a "Grand Exit" or anything.

Everyone else left, so we just left to do some more pictures and my IL's helped clean up. I am very thankful for them :)

Our mothers decided that something needed to be tossed at use.  They went with rose petals.  One of DH's aunts stuffed a handful down the front of my dress.

I don't think we are doing anything fancy. We will probably end up leaving when everyone else does, just thanking people for coming and saying goodbye, and then we'll drive the 4 minutes back to our house! We aren't doing a cutesy exit out of the chapel either, because we have to leave the chapel before everyone else does, it is just the way it is set up. We may use balloons for our family/wedding party to use when we come back out of the chapel after signing the license.. it could make for some cute photos!

We didn't do anything grand. The DJ played the final song, and the hotel staff started taking down the tables and some of the other stuff. A lot of our family and friends were sticking around, hanging out and talking, and we ended up just leaving to go upstairs to our suite in our wedding clothes.

We went around and said goodbye to everyone after the final song and left.  A bunch of people had left so it was pretty easy, until I found out my keys had been left in the taxi -.-  But it all worked out as I always have a spare

We ended up leaving a lot earlier than planned. The party was going great and people were hanging around, we were just over it. We were so tired and just ready to be alone that we skipped the flower and garter toss and just took off! We said goodbye to our parents and were gone. We had a gift opening the next morning, so we saw everyone again. It was nice and I don't at all regret skipping the traditional things!

We have an early reception so i figure people will leave ... We clean up ... Take presents to my parents house ... and or open them that night ... But our venue has a hotel so we will literally walk over after the reception is over and crash ... Unless we want some "spirits" at the pub next door with whoever is left ... Most people will probably leave by 5 or 6ish ...

We're not planning a grand exit. My hope is to be the last person to leave our wedding. I want to get a chance to say bye to as many people as possible. We also plan on being the ones to clean up, unless someone volunteers to help.

We stayed until the end and then said bye to everyone. Most people were gone when we left. I think only our parents and the workers were left. I didn't want to leave early because we were having so much fun!!

Someone announced that we were leaving, so people lined up and we left in my car that had been written on by my sister. Pretty straight forward

We stayed until the end.  FI wanted to hang out longer with people, but I was ready to go back to the room.  It had been a long day.
