That's awesome.  But dude, I have been stalking my registry like whoa, my shower is Sunday, and only 5 things have been bought off of it.  Three of which I know my one aunt bought (because she told me, lol).  Registry stalking is a bit of a disappointment with my guest list apparently...  =(

Yea, I'm finding that people are a little more loosy-goosy with buying things for the shower.  Which is fine, and actually a lot how I was.  I always felt free to basically get what I wanted for the bride for the shower, then I'd get something from the registry for the actual wedding.

i just want one gift to be purchased.. thats all i'm asking.. i've honestly thought about buying something for myself to have the first thing purchased and maybe be motivation for others to buy me stuff.

jennyann, know what you mean! I have only ONE thing gone from my registries. Granted it's the MS cupcake carrier (yay!) but I was really hoping someone would get me our serving set...cuz you know, I want to USE it at the reception.
