DH's parents get here tomorrow with the wedding gifts, youth group is selling concessions at a 150th Birthday celebration for Kansas, fireworks Saturday night in town, church on Sunday, trip into the city Sunday afternoon to spend gift cards. :)  Monday night we're having dinner with the senior pastor's family so they can meet DH's parents and watching fireworks from their porch.

Today: Went shopping for some decor stuff. Found some good prices at Hobby Lobby. Most of the wall stuff was 50% off so I went a little crazy. :) I'm having dinner with my parents in a little bit and then I'm spending some time with FI.

Tomorrow: Yard sale-ing with my grandparents. And hanging out with FI. Not sure what all we have planned...

    Sunday: Church.

And then I'm etiehr going to a theme park with some friends on Monday or staying here and hanging out with FI more, watching fireworks and then driving home.

Wedding DIYs, decide on reception desserts, maybe pack some boxes, online house search, try on wedding dress (didn't have a chance after getting it bustled) and buy RINGS!

FI works weekend nights so we don't get to see each other on weekends. :(

We are traveling down to SC to see FI's family!  I'm so excited to see them all.  We're only TWO weeks away from the wedding, so this is definitely a special trip.  :-)

Yesterday my mom, FMIL, and 2 BM's came over to help make centerpieces and last night friends came over.

Today FI and I played tennis and in a little we are doing some shopping and meeting our designer to pick up the escort cards, table numbers, favor cards and thank you notes!

Tomorrow is church and at night is the first week of Praise at the Pavilion, which is a summer food/fellowship/music thing that I organized this year. A different band plays each week and it all takes place in the pavilion behind our church. Please say a little prayer that everything goes smoothly because this is the first time I had to organize something this important for church!

Monday we are going to my parents' for a picnic, then watching fireworks with friends. Love fireworks!

    Our weekend started Friday.

Fri - H helped me do some stuff at school, then we took the puppies to the dog park.  Afterward we walked over to ILs to see what the nephews were up to and ended up with an impromptu pizza dinner party with both SILs, all 3 nephews, MIL, FIL, and two of their neighbors.  It was fun.

Sat - Helped my parents with staining their decks.  It was hot and sticky and messy, but they really appreciated our help so that made the heat worth while.

Sun - I have a circuit training class in the morning and then ???  Not sure what we'll do in the afternoon.  I kind of like having no plans!

Mon - my birthday!  Well, my half birthday, but we've always celebrated on the 4th of July because my real birthday  (Jan 4) is so close to Christmas.  We're doing a bbq lunch with my parents because H has to work 4-midnight.

</div><div>My grandma always celebrated my half birthday too because it is the first day of summer (June 21st) and she loves summer and my real birthday is the first day of winter (December 21st) and she really dislikes winter. I never thought about not celebrating it on the real day because of Christmas, but that makes sense! We still celebrate mine on the real day, but my grandma still does the half birthday thing. I thought I was the only one... Happy Birthday (half, or otherwise!)
