Prayers PLEASE!

Well girls... My FH and I are sexually active... We know what the bible says but we are... and God has taught us a lesson... We are pregnant... We are due we think about 3 months after our wedding... This was unplanned... but alas... we were already getting married its just our family of Two plus dog... will become a family of three plus dog much sooner than we thought... We would love your prayers as we try to tell our parents and what not and prayers for me that I might still be able to fit in my dress some how...  Thanks so much! So soon you'll see my pregancy chart on my ticker too...

ETA:  Also, just noticed the part about "being punished."  The other ladies have said it as well, but God doesn't do that.  He finished with punishments at Calvary.

I don't think that's at all God teaching you a lesson. I honestly don't believe he works like that just waiting to smite people.

I'll be praying.  I think there's a good chance that you'll need another dress because you'll be 6 months at your wedding right?  The last think you'll want to deal with is a dress that doesn't fit on the wedding day.  I hope everything works out for the best.

I'll also be praying. And I also don't think it's helpful to be certain this is a God-smiting you thing. I mean God does discipline us sometimes, but some things are just natural results. Stupid example, but if my brother ate a chocolate cake I made for something he might possibly be sick or gain weight, not necessarily because God was smiting him for stealing the cake, but because that's what happens when you eat a whole cake in one sitting.

I'm sure you know this, but I hope you still feel God loves you and there is no condemnation in Christ (Romans 8:1). I just hope you know that there is hope in the repentance and forgiveness we have access to in Christ.

Sorry that something this unexpected has happened... but the good news is that you and your FI love each other and had already been planning your wedding. I will pray that you find the words to tell your families and that the dress situation works itself out. And PP's are right- God still loves you no matter what. Your little one will be a blessing to you and you will love him or her very very much, even though the timing wasn't ideal. Prayers coming your way!

It's possible your dress could still fit, but I'd be on the lookout for another one just in case!

I don't think God wants to punish you, but he does want to be a part of your life, in all things. I don't know what your relationship is like with him, but I know mine can always be better. I definitely had a big wake up call of my own when I met DH and my life has done a 180 since then, and I am so glad for it

What kind of dress do you have? A good friend of mine was well along in her pregnancy when she got married and looked stunning in an empire flowy dress.

Wow, you seem to be dealing with this really well. I would be a mess if I were in your situation, having to tell my parents. I will pray for you and I hope that your wedding is still everything you dream of, and your marriage is even better.

I too would be on the lookout for a new dress or a great seamstress!! 

ETA: this was not a "lesson" or a "punishment" but a gift! Please don't think otherwise.
