Where to register?!?!?!

Hello to all my fellow Washington brides...the time has come for the FI and I to register for our wedding, yay! I'm a little stressed on where to register though.  We're from eastern WA so Target and Macy's are popular spots to register but I've heard the return policy is not so good at Target and I'm not a huge fan of Macy's.  I was thinking of registering at Williams-Sonoma or Pottery Barn and also Bed Bath and Beyond because that's local.  Would it seem pretentious for us to be registering at Williams-Sonoma or Pottery Barn? I need advide!!!  Where did you register?  Would it be better to register somewhere else that I didn't mention?!

I registered at Pottery Barn.  I also was wary of Target, and Macy's didn't have anything we really liked.  My main registry is Crate & Barrel, but we registered for our bedlinens, towels, and a few decor things at PB.  I, obviously, don't think it's pretentious, and most of what we registered for is less expensive than stuff we saw at Macy's!

I don't think it's pretentious at all. I actually kind of think a lot of my friends and relatives will be surprised I didn't register at W-S, PB or Sur la Table because I love those places. We just didn't register there because the dishes I preferred were elsewhere. We're registered at Macy's, BBB, and Crate and Barrel. We have a fourth Amazon.com registry for odds and ends that weren't at those 3 places.

Not pretentious at all. That's what those stores are for, weddings! Crate & Barrel is my fav, but I'm actually a Macy's fan. We have a majority of our dishware with them and they are ALWAYS on sale. Plus in the last two months they've had spring sales where anything on your registry is an extra 25% off the sale price. My bridal shower guests were loving that!
