Our God by Chris Tomlin

Both me and my fiance love Chris Tomlin's song "Our God" and we would love to include it in the worship set for our wedding. However, I am a bit nervous that the lyrics could come across as insulting to some of our guests of different religions. Any thoughts?

This is one of the instances where you get to play the, "It's our wedding," card.  If you were attending a Jewish, Catholic, Muslim, etc, wedding, you would expect traditions different from your Protestant wedding.  Great song!  Good luck with planning!

Agree with Emily. Your wedding is a reflection of you and your FI. Do what you want. :)

I have family that's not christian and I'm adding in extra stuff like that -- not to make them mad and offended, but to make sure they at least hear the truth in some way or another.

I would say not to ever be afraid of proclaiming the truth.  You can say a prayer before your wedding that God will use the song to speak to unbelievers.  I agree with the other ladies here that it's only logical that your wedding be a reflection of you.

If you were pressuring people to take communion or something it would be one thing, but people will be fine with songs playing/being sung. :) Don't worry.
