A man and woman FI knew and used to be very close friends were involved in a terrible car accident Saturday. The girl pulled out in front of a semi, killing her passenger (the guy) on impact. She passed away later that night from her injuries.
Her parents were divorced. They are now fighting over her body. One wants the funeral one way and the other wants it completely different. Its so terrible to think about what both of these families are going through right now, but for them to be fighting over her breaks my heart.
FI is having a tough time dealing with it. The only thing that has comforted him (and me, even though I didn't know them personally) is that we had heard both of their testimonies and know that they are in a better place.
She was 19 and he was 22.
