FI's parents have this tiny little 4 room house that is all of 100ft from their house. They told FI over the weekend that once we get married we can live in this house RENT FREE (with the exception of utilities and such) until we decide to settle in a more permanent residence. This news has taken a lot of weight off me.
I haven't seen the inside of the house yet and I've only seen the outside from a distance. Its looks...old and tiny lol. FI won't let me see the inside of it...I'm guessing he wants to do some work to it before I see it, but Idk. It does not have washer/dryer hook-up but I mean that can be installed, can't it? Its just a starter home for us, and after all, it is rent free so that is going to help us a lot with saving money for a awesome house in the future. Beggars can't be choosers right? I actually think that this will probably be the little house that we look back on and smile because I'm certain many memories will be made in it
