your anniversary?  Dating anniversary?  Wedding anniversary, if applicable?

We never celebrated our dating anniversary.

Today is our first wedding anniversary.  We went to Myrtle Beach this weekend and got an ocean-front room.  The top layer of our wedding cake is thawing on the kitchen counter.  I am so excited to give DH his gift this evening!  I feel like I'm not good at gift-giving, but I'm really proud of the combo I came up with.  First wedding anniversary is paper, so I made a scrapbook of stuff from this year, got him a book (History of the World according to facebook), and a small notebook from our undergrad (he goes through notebooks like crazy).

We also don't celebrate out dating anniversary. I imagine our wedding anniversary will be a little different. I see dinner out and just spending the night together. I know we are already talking about going to Boston for our 1 year anniversary but don't see trips being involved with every anniversary.

We got an amazing deal on our honeymoon and we've talked about using the money we saved for another big trip for our anniversary. Time will tell if we'll actually be able to use that money for something fun, but I hope so! 

We've never celebrated anniversaries other than simply aknowledging them, but we are planning on doing big wedding anniversaries and celebrating another year of marriage!

Dating anniversary we actually did lil gifts for 6 months ... We did a Beatles tribute band for our 1 year anniversary that was AWESOME.... Got engaged soon before 2 year anniversary and then just went to see The Vow [which i hated lol ] and out to our fav rest where our first date was ...

Honeymoon we are doing something small I wanted Savannah but it's too much for us right now so I'm hoping after I'm done with nursing school and before we have children together we could go there as an anniversary/graduation present ....

I guess dating anniversary will not kinda fade away ...Oct will be 3 years since we met and it's the month we are getting married in ... So our Feb/March dates I guess wont be neccisary ...Kinda seems overdone then and its too many dates to keep track of ... haha

Dating anniversary was always just a nice dinner and we took the time to write each other special letters that we have saved in our safe. We didn't celebrate the dating anniversary after we were married. We acknowledged it like a month later, but that was it.

For our first anniversary, we're staying at a little B&B in a Bavarian viliage a couple of hours away. It's off season for them, so it'll be cheap and really, we didn't want to do anything big. I don't think we'll always have the time or money to do something once kids come along.

DH and I always celebrated our dating anniversary with flowers, cards, eating at restaurants, etc.  But now that we're married, we're not doing anything special for the dating anniversary anymore.  We haven't had our one-year anniversary yet.  We wanted to go on the cruise that we had planned to take on our HM (but launch dates didn't work out with the days we had off for the HM) for our first wedding anniversary, but now that we're building a house we're broke!  Lol.  We'll probably end up spending our first wedding anniversary eating dinner, seeing a movie, and exchanging gifts.  We are planning on FINALLY taking that cruise for our second anniversary, haha.

We don't celebrate our dating anniversary. I guess we'll find out after we're married for our wedding anniversary lol! I know that we get a free night stay at the resort we're getting married at for our first anniversary, so likely celebrate it with a weekend there

We don't celebrate anything but our wedding anniversary, as it would get confusing/ridiculous/expensive to celebrate all the "anniversaries". Last year, for our 1st anniversary we just went to dinner on the lake and split a bottle of champagne which was really nice. We wanted to go on a trip, but we were closing on our house a few days later, so obviously that took over.

Our 2nd anniversary is coming up in a few weeks, and we're going to Jamaica for a few nights to celebrate. We'd like to make it a tradition to go away each year, but understand that may not always be possible especially once we start a family.

We don't always celebrate our dating anniversary. They just randomly occur when we want an excuse to do something..."Oh hey its Friday! Jim, honey, didn't we start dating on a Friday?...MOVIE NIGHT!!!" and "I'm sorry, but we can't attend your dog's funeral because it's our anniversary and we already made plans. Sorry for your loss."

We've never celebrated our dating anniversary other than to recognize it.  It was during softball season, though, so we never actually got to do anything.  Plus, there were only two of them before we got married :-P

Our wedding anniversary is different.  We always do something together.  We go wine tasting at a different vineyard each year, and we usually see a play of some sort.  Dinner is sometimes out, sometimes at home.  We also watch our wedding video while eating cheese and drinking a bottle of wine purchased the year before at the wine tasting.

We have gone out of town for our anniversary, but it's not always possible.  This year we'll be going out of town, but it will be after our anniversary.  I have a performance the day of our anniversary :-(

ETA - we do still (sort of) acknowledge our dating anniversary, but it's easy to remember because we started dating on April Fool's Day!

We usually celebrated our dating anniversary with dinner and that was about it.  I'm pretty sure we'll do a little more for our wedding anniversary though. I would really love for us to be able to go off each year to celebrate it.

We didn't really do anything fancy for dating anniversaries, we usually acknowledged it to each other and went out for dinner somewhere around the date.

Our first wedding anniversary is coming up in August, we don't have any big plans.  I thought we might just go out for dinner but my H seems pretty excited about it, so maybe we will make it into a bigger deal than I anticipated.  I'm contemplating following the traditional paper/silver/gold etc. anniversary gift years, although it is antiquated I'm thinking about modernizing it and making it fun.  I think family traditions are critical and really fun as time goes on, so I guess out first anniversary is the time to start implementing!

We celebrated dating anniversaries by going to dinner, etc and we would do gifts. For our one-year marriage anniversary this coming July, we are going to Disneyworld! We are so excited! My parents went there for their one-year anniversary and it will be fun to continue the tradition. I am planning an exciting gift, too. Once we have kids, though, I'm sure we'll just go to dinner or something. The trip thing won't be all the time.

I just remembered, DH and I decided not to save our top tier and instead ate it on our HM.  So we want to get a replica top tier done for our 1-year.  We might just get a cake and go to the beach or go to NOLA or something fairly local like that.
