Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful that my husband got suspened from work and actually has time to spend with me and we can get our house in order!! (gotta look on the bright side). Also, it gives us a chance to reevaluate what he really wants to do. (stay with his parents company or look elsewhere for a job)

I'm also thankful that my hours have picked up significantly at work. I'm pretty much working a full time job even though before I would get MAYBE 15 hours a week. Obviously God planned for my job to pick up when we needed it the most.

What are you thankful for?

I'm thankful for the wonderful opportunity to pursue my dream of being a teacher.  I have a wonderful preschool teacher job with wonderful coworkers and I am in a wonderful teacher education program that is Nationally Accredited.  I am thankful for my wonderful family and amazing FI who despite everything continues to push through his physical pain.  I'm just a thankful person right now and I owe it all to God.

  • I am thankful I having found my dress for an affordable price (ordering next week), for my friend who finally and happily is pregnant after losing her newborn daughter in Jan 2011, for my dad surviving 18 yellow jacket stings while allergic to bees, by having a great day with a friend on Saturday, and for having finished the baby blankets for my friend's twins that I have been working on for a while AND whipping out a baby blanket for a friend having a baby shower in TWO days! I have never remotely done one that fast. I did a lacy kind of blanket that uses less yarn and goes faster but still looks great.

  • I am thankful for my time in Germany.  It has shown me a lot about myself and been a great experience with my husband.
