I wrote this to you in drama's reintroduction post, but it's pretty far down, so, in case you didn't see it, here it is:
drama and joe&cassie- I am an elementary teacher. I student taught in the spring of 2007, subbed for a year after that and have been teaching first grade in my classroom for four years (starting my fifth in August). So, if you ever have any questions about student teaching or teaching, feel free to message me! Don't be nervous about student teaching! It's a great experience and I bet you both will be wonderful!

Student teaching was the most fun for me. I'm no longer a teacher, but I student taught in spring of 2004, substitute taught for about a year. Then taught 2nd, K, and 3rd.

Thanks ladies! I'm only nervous about being in complete charge of the classroom. I'm sure I'll do fine and have fun with it.

Another ditto.  I student taught in 2003 and 2004 (we had to do two stints of it, one from August to December and the other from December to April) at middle school and high school level, and I've taught middle school since 2007.  I taught HS before that.

as part of our education program we have two partial internships the two semesters before student teaching so I have taught lessons before but I'm eager to start actually planning units and such. Plus I'm a sped major so we are about to start a reading camp in my summer class on Monday. I'm so excited. we actually get to give the CRI to 3 students each.
