FI never puts anything away. He just leaves everything out, and clutter builds up.

What? Change things? Absolutely nothing. He's just perfect. I mean really, he meets all 369 things on my "must have" list that I wrote in middle school.

Haha. No. I would change how often he does romantic guestures. He's not a romantic at all, but he has expressed wanting to grow in this area so we'll see.

H is WAY too hard on himself. I would have him not doubt himself so often.

</div><div>Haha did you really write a list like that? Because a good friend of mine wrote one in high school and I forget how many items were on it, but there were a LOT... such as "must not eat breakfast food for dinner" and "must not wear slippers." And the man she is married to does at least one of these, if not both. Haha I love it</div>

I also think I'd give him more confidence in the grace of God. He beats himself up too often. For example, if something bad happens in my life, he'll look at himself and think that the one little mistake he did last week (which he's already repented of) is obviously (to him) the reason this bad thing happened in my life.

If I did it, he'd probably yell at me. I have to constantly (like at least once a week) help him see that God doesn't work like that, that we're under grace, and once he's repented of something God's forgiven it and moved on, and would like him to do the same... And suddenly he'll get it, and be happy...

And then next week he falls into that trap of thinking again.  I would love to give him freedom from that.

Ash, no I did not have such a list haha. I saw an episode of Millionaire Matchmaker (quality TV right there...) and this woman had a list like your friend did. It was ridiculous!!

Oh-- I forgot. I would totally change FI's hairline. He's 27 and is well on his way to being a cue ball. It's a good thing he still looks hot with a shaved head!

Same here. He did buy me a dozen roses for Valentines, which was pretty amazing, but other than that, he lacks in the romance department. He admits it, though, and is trying to make improvements.

FI is a perfectionist which is good and bad. It drives him and I nuts sometimes; the lights on the Christmas tree don't need to be THAT perfect that we have to redo them multiple times... But of course his perfectionism has an upside!

I would change his nose. He has crooked nasal passages (and I think a deviated septum) and it causes him to snore and not be able to breathe through his nose when sleeping.

Of course surgery will most likely fix this, so in that case there's nothing else I would change.

His sense of eagerness to: pay people back, get ______ done, etc.  Of COURSE he motivates me and keeps me from letting our home look like a big ol' clutterball but sometimes I just WANT to have a little clutter on my table!!  It's how I work!!  But I love hime, and we communicate well - which is such a blessing lol.

I wish DH would put his dirty clothes in the hamper.  I've stopped washing things he leaves on the floor (or end tables ewwww) throughout the house.  Then he wonders why he doesn't have any clean socks.
