Did you make a new year's resolution? Have you been able to stick to it?

Re: Wednesday QOTD

  • Yes! I've almost met my reading goal and I've gotten started on both the Harry Potter and Narnia series. I'm eating better and working out at least 3 times (if not more!) a week. I'm also cooking one new dish a week. :)

  • Mine were to eat healthier and exercise more and to strengthen my relationship with the Lord and focus on Him and His will for me. I have not been doing well with the food and exercise, unfortunately. BUT I am doing good with the other one! I do a devotion every night, have been reading books about Christianity or that at least have scriptural references, H and I chose our new church (we had been looking for a new one) and are starting a small group Bible study tomorrow. I pray as much as I can (trying to be in constant conversation) and H and I are going to sponsor a child through Compassion International. I want to do more for others.

So now I just need to work on the eating right and exercising again.
  • Mine were to be healthier and get back down to my college weight (which means that, at the time, I had set the goal to lose 15-20 lbs by the time we go to Hawaii). I'm down about 6 lbs so far, and if I can only lose another 10 I would be happy I suppose. If only I could start working out the way I used to...

I'm also doing more Bible study and trying more to surround myself with positive influences.

Me too!!  I did try to make a resolution to tone up and maybe lose a few pounds, but I'm more keen on toning up because when you gain muscle, you gain weight.  :P
  • To diet and exercise, which I'm doing like a champ, but I haven't lost a pound!
