Hi ladies! I just found this Christian board and I'm so excited! I have a ceremony question. We are taking communion during the ceremony and I have asked my friend if she would sing during that time. Do you know of any Christian songs that pertain to "husband/wife love" if that makes sense. Or just a song that would be appropriate for this? Thank you!

We used "God Gave Me You" and 2 other songs but I think that song might be appropriate for what you're thinking about.  Or maybe "I Will Be Here" (kind of old but really good).  

Emily (fpaemp2011) has a really great list of songs that she posts periodically - maybe search back through the board to see if you can find another music thread, I'm sure it's there!! :-)

We used "I Will Be Here" for our unity candle/license signing/communion taking song.

And, welcome to the board!  I promise I'm not as big of a witch as I might seem, I just really like to debate things and learn what other people's points of view are and why.

My sister is singing an old hymn called "O Perfect Love" while we light our candle and have communion. It's simple and elegant. I would have never heard it except that my grandparents had it sung at their wedding and again at their 50th.

Haha me too... although I'm not as much combative as I am not nearly as conservative as some of the girls on this board, so I sometimes have different advice and points of view ;0)
