Prayer Update!

First of all thank you to all of you who have been praying for FI and I! and now for an update on the situation.

Things are going a lot better now, FI is learning to be more honest with me. He even told me yesterday "I don't know if keeping a secret from you is considered lying, but I'm having lunch with your mom sometime. She told me not to tell, but I didn't want to lie to you" So things are really starting go back to normal for us!

I'm glad to hear that things are going well with you and your FI. I didn't know the situation before, but I'm sure that God has worked and will continue to work with your relationship!

That's really good.  Sometimes guys don't realize what is considered lying.  My FI grew up in a home that wasn't necessarily gung-ho about church all the time, so we have hit a few things where he just didn't realize that he should tell me, even if it seemed insignificant to him.  It's made things SO much better between us.  That happend... maybe 2 years ago when we were still just dating, but we are SO honest with each other, perhaps too honest sometimes! :-)

It's been 8 years and my husband is still learning when I expect him to tell me things and when I don't care.  He'll figure it out with time.  Hopefully he's figured out the big things so you can relax and trust  a bit better.
