*amongthelilies*

You get married the day after my birthday AND we have the same bridesmaid dresses (well, my book has one style of the four).

Here is my confession that I was just stalking you. ;)

Hahahah.  Stalking is more fun when it goes both ways. :)

One of my bridesmaids is wearing the style in the book and is going to turn some heads.  It's an amazing dress!  My color is actually the one pictured on our books too.  It looks awesome on her!

Hahaha.  That's cute.  I can't wait to see how it turns out for you!

I'm feeling good.  I was really stressed briefly last week and I still have some things to do but am confident it will get done.  I'm really just ready for it to be over with and get to Jamaica with my honey!!!

Is Martin home for good now?

wow!!! Jamaica!!! that is sooo amazing!!! (: you'll have a GREAT time!

Martin is home for good now! oh..my heart is completely overjoyed. he is trying to get connected into our HUGE church. we go to Bethel church in Ca. it is an internationally-known church with a School of Ministry. Jesus Culture is from there (idk if you have heard of them...but it is a youth conference thing and a band)
So it makes it a little harder to get involved ministry-wise. He is going from a church where he was the direct intern under the pastor...... to being here with no ministry. It stresses him out a little bit because his heart is to help ppl (especially young men) so i am just praying that he will get connected somehow and just continue to grow.

He is truly an amazing man and i am soo excited to partner my life with his! (: its soo nice to have him home and just be able to spend time with him!!!! i have missed just talking with him over coffee, holding his hand, hearing his heart.

Awwwww I just teared up reading that.  I am so happy for y'all.  I can't imagine being without my boogarhead for months on end.  I understand having a hard time getting connected.  I go to Church of the Highlands in Birmingham, AL.  It was named the fastest growing church in the country two years ago and was in second place last year.  Over 26K people attended Easter services.  Until I was able to get plugged in, it just didn't feel much like home.  I hope he finds his niche there and gets comfy quickly!

I have absolutely heard of Jesus Culture.  That's awesome!

awh..you're sweet. being apart from Martin was one of the hardest things i've done. but its sooo much getting to know him all over again. (:

ya, i adore my church and my pastor. He is an AMAZING man of God! truly... but it does make it hard to get plugged in. There is a school...so a lot of the students get first pick on all ministry stuff. But summer is here now (graduation is tonight) so i am praying something opens up for him.

i know that Martin will find something though. He is sooo incredibly charming and gets along with everyone. He is so smart and outgoing. And he has such a beautiful heart to serve. Its such an honor to someday be lead by him. (:

You don't happen to like Martin at all, do you? ;)  So happy you have such a great man.  I get all giggly when you talk about him.

I looked for the graphics and just put them on my photobucket.  Here's the code (remove the * of course)

    hehe, ya i like him a little bit. (;

i just love to brag on my man. hehe. (:

its just soo cute!! i havn't even mailed my invites yet (we still need to go over the guest list... hopefully tonight).

How long have you been with your FI?

I love to do the same thing.  I happen to think he's handsome and my favorite person on earth so I have a lot to brag about.

We met in March 2008 and were inseparable immediately, but had over a year of fighting with each other and fighting for our relationship.  We broke up "for good" in early December 2009 and he dated another girl.  They watched the movie "Up" together and he realized he was wasting his time because I was his Ellie. :)  Less than a month after our breakup, we were back together, but this time, there was no fighting.  God used our time apart to heal our hearts.  It took Him less than a month to fix what we couldn't in a year and a half.  He even showed off His sense of humor when we went to church together during the "At the Movies" series and they were doing a lesson about "Up."  hahahahaha.

What about the two of you?

awh..... i love that!!! what a wonderful story! its amazing what God can do with time and our hearts, you know??

Martin and i met throught a mutual friend in Dec 2009. My neighbor was working with him and she thought that it would be a great idea to "hook us up."
Well i was in my hometown for Christmas break which is 2 hours away. So she showed him my picture and he just thought i was soo beautiful (his words. lol). She sent me a picture of him and i thought he was okay. lol.
I hadn't dated in 2 years and was "waiting for my prince" and wasn't to interested in dating anyone. I was super snooty when she asked if she could give him my number and said "well i am not gonna even THINK about TALKING to him unless he goes to church!" and she replied "uh..he goes to the same church as you." lol.
So Martin got my number, lost it, got it again and called me. We talked for 2 weeks just on the phone until i FINALLY got back to town (i was snowed in in my hometown and couldn't drive home. )
I met him when i got back to town and i picked up my neighbor (which i often did give her rides to and from work). He talked briefly and he asked me out. We went on our first official date on January 15th. He bought me the perfume i was wearing the first night i met him. (: After that we were pretty much always together. I met his family in March 2010.... and we all just instantly fell in love. (:
He left for school in August 2010 (we had been dating for 7 months) and then he was gone for 9 months.
