I confess I'm still very hurt over my parents and sister and their reaction to something in the past.  Last night made everything fresh again and I cried for a long time before I prayed for peace and He graciously gave it to me.  It's been 2 years, and I'm still hurt.

I confess that when a friend asked me to talk last night (a friend that always listens to me whenever I need to verbally sort something out) I agreed for the wrong motives. I agreed because I feel like I owe him, not because I actually wanted to listen.

And I confess that I was not prayerful about the conversation or advice I gave him.

b2b - oh.....you will be in my prayers. i hate hurt. i am still hurt by a lot of things in my past. it can be an ongoing process to let go of the hurt and truly forgive. i encourage you to continue to seek God's face and do not allow yourself to be identified by the hurt. (for example....some ppl in my FI's life said some very hurtful things about me..and i carried those lies around me and started to believe that i wasn't good enough and it really brought me down). I do not know your situation and what happened but i do know that you are a strong and powerful woman with a bright future ahead of you and a man of God who adores you! the two of you will do amazing things together! God has you in His arms and wants to pour out His love and peace over you. 

mrsbrist - i hate when i do things out of the wrong motive. But forgive yourself and allow God to touch you. Pray for your friend now...its never to late. Maybe you will even come up with some other advice that you can share with him. (:

i confess that i struggled BAD this week! the enemy was trying to get me down..and i did lose some ground. he was attacking my self esteem really bad. and i was doubting my upcoming marriage. i felt like my FI has such a HUGE calling on his life...and i was scared that i wouldn't be able to be the help mate that he needs. after some prayer and talking to my FMIL i am feeling better! 

the enemy has been defeated!!!! i will not allow those lies or insecurities get the best of me any longer! i know WHO i am and WHO'S i am!

Thanks, girl We've talked about it since this morning. He actually called me when he woke up, so that was good...it's just so hard to remember that in the moment, you know?

I love how you talk to yourself about your struggles. It's really uplifting. It's something I'd love to be able to do!

I'll confess that I RSVP'd my mom and her boyfriend just to see how the online RSVP's work. And then her doofus of a boyfriend is mad at me for all the little petty things. Like the fact he thinks I am using my mom just for money! GRRRR he drives me crazy. Any way I undid he RSVP on the website hoping that they will break up and that he can be one guest I take off my list. I know its not very christian of me but he just infuriates me so much... Like the fact he breaks up or threatens to break up with her every other week!

I confess that I've been super moody towards FI's family this week...Just frustrating that they want to change so many of my details...uuuuggghhh... But FI has been so encouraging. So everything will be fine!!


I also confess that when FI tells me he loves me.. I still giggle lol

I confess that I got really mad today at the gas station when I was waiting for a pump for a long time and then a guy tried to take the pump from the other side and I totally wouldn't let him take it and I mouthed, "I have been waiting for TEN minutes!" He finally let me have the pump and then when he got another pump he said to someone else, "I'm not going to fight over a gas pump." So I apologized to him and explained that I had been waiting a long time and I felt so bad. He was nice and we ended up talking about how the gas station is always so busy and about gas prices haha, but I still feel awful that I had that reaction. Father, forgive me for losing my patience.
